While rumors were going around back then, Ray Fisher has confirmed that the production of Justice League had been a shit show, and everything had went downhill ever since Snyder was forced to leave because of a family tragedy. What’s interesting is, HBO Max has given Snyder a chance to complete his cut of the movie for 2021, and though it was said no reshoots would take place, apparently they’re pushing through.

As per The Hollywood Reporter, Snyder is said to be conducting reshoots this coming October with returning cast members Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, and Ray Fisher. We don’t know exactly what they are shooting, but it’s likely just for dialogue and pick-ups. We shouldn’t expect any big new action scenes.

It’s interesting that Fisher is coming back seeing that he’s basically at war with WB with his allegations of abuse during the JL production. Hopefully this is a means for WB to make amends with him, as Fisher had been robbed of a substantial role in the film, resulting in the cancellation of his solo Cyborg movie which was originally announced to come out this year.

While the world has been on flames with the pandemic and politics, 2020 has managed to shed a little light for DCEU fans. After what sounds like a production nightmare, Snyder and his team are now allowed to finish what they started, and though there’s a chance it won’t be good, at least they got keep their artistic integrity.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League is set to come out on HBO Max sometime in 2021.
