Solo: A Star Wars Story is set to come out next month, and Lucasfilm has just released what will probably be the final trailer for the film.
Check it out:
This preview gives us a good idea on the plot, and we get to see more of the characters and their relationships toward one another. We finally get to see Donald Glover speak as Lando Calrissian, and we also discover that his droid L3-37 is actually kind of a tough cookie. We get a glimpse of Chewbacca’s wife (possibly) as well as Paul Bettany’s character Dryden Vos.
The beginning of the year had a lot of people worried about Solo counting the missing previews and the drama behind-the-scenes. The release of the teasers have generated (mostly) positive reactions, however, and a lot of people are ready to see another corner of the Star Wars universe from Han Solo’s perspective.
As for the negativity behind some fans, I guess it only matters what really is your poison when it comes to liking Star Wars. While some are in it for the Jedi and lightsaber battles, I actually prefer the more rough and gruff aspects of the universe—especially the space battles. Some people say that Han Solo’s origin is not one they asked for, but I can imagine another side of the fandom who’s excited to see more of the original trilogy era brought to life onscreen.
Solo: A Star Wars Story comes out May 25.
