The White Lotus Season 3 may be done, but the drama actually continues behind-the-scenes as rumor has it that the actors have been feuding with each other off camera—one such feud is between Walton Goggins and Aimee Lou Wood, who play lovers in the show.
Fans have been speculating about the feud ever since some people pointed out that the two have unfollowed each other on IG, and now Goggins seems to have fanned the fire after he showed support for the SNL sketch White Potus after Wood called it out for being mean about it.
For context, here’s the skit:
Though the sketch is supposed to make fun of Donald Trump along with his White House cabinet picks, there is kind a mean joke about Wood and her teeth. People reported that Wood posted on her stories after the sketch came out, “Yes, take the piss for sure — that’s what the show is about — but there must be a cleverer, more nuanced, less cheap way?”
And after Wood posted about the sketch, Goggins then followed up on his Instagram stories with, “Smashing… Jon [Hamm], I knew I was miscast.” For further context, Hamm is playing a parodied version of RFK Jr., who is supposed to be in the sketch replacing Goggins’ character.
SNL has since apologized to Wood about the sketch, but it’s kind of suspicious that Goggins would show support right after Wood would call the show out. Maybe he’s just relating it to his White Lotus role and isn’t throwing any shade at Wood? It honestly feels to petty to be true.
