Venom: Rumor Suggests that Full Suit Will Only Appear in the Climax

The first teaser for Sony’s Venom didn’t give us a glimpse of the classic black suit at all, but a new rumor has come out that the movie will barely have it either.

According to a source from Manabyte, the plot break down suggests that the full Venom suit will only appear towards the end of the film, with Brock going up against another person with a symbiote. Apparently, for the rest of the film, the symbiote will only manifest in the form of black veins on Eddie Brock, and they’ll be able to form things like tentacles and even a shield. It’s only by the time of the climax that we get to see Brock turn into the Venom everyone is familiar with.

The site also confirms the presence of three symbiotes: One is the symbiote which possesses Brock, the second symbiote is the one used by the villain, and the third one will attach itself to a human who will die from exposure.

I can imagine a lot of outrage from fans if the full Venom suit will only appear in the end, but as long as the story is handled well, I won’t complain. Ruben Fleischer is a fun director, and if Sony is confident to push forward with this film despite all the backlash, then the script can’t be that bad.

Catch Venom in theaters Oct. 5.
