Not avoiding Uncharted 4 trailers, like I am? Naughty Dog and PlayStation just dropped the Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Story Trailer and it is a meaty one running at roughly two and half minutes long. Check it out below:
Uncharted 4 is, according to Naughty Dog, Nathan Drake’s last adventure. If true, it is also the studios last go at the series. It remains to be seen whether or not Sony (Publisher) will attempt to later get another development team working on the incredibly beloved, and highly successful, action-adventure franchise.
Drake’s last adventure has not been without its fair share of hiccups. In early 2014, the game’s writer, and series creator, Amy Hennig, left the studio. Within a few short months, she announced she had taken a job at EA studio, Visceral, to work on a new Star Wars title that has yet to be officially revealed. The reason behind Hennig’s departure from Naughty Dog is still unknown.
Originally meant to be PlayStation 4’s big Fall title for 2015, Uncharted 4 has been through a total of three delays now. Set to release in March of this year (by way of its second delay), it was revealed last month that the new launch date is April 26, 2016.
