Nick Kroll and Andrew Goldberg had been going strong since it premiered back in 2017. Now the show is gearing up for its final season, and we have a first look at the trailer.

While the series did start out as a metaphor for puberty, Big Mouth has evolved to explore so much more aspects of human life—not just with puberty, but with other aspects of the human experience as well, including Anxiety and Depression.
While Nick and friends had been subject to being the same age throughout the entire series, it does look like the final season is going to have the characters grow up finally—but that doesn’t mean they won’t have any more ‘monsters’ following them around.
A lot of people are admittedly not fans of Big Mouth and say that the series is pretty disgusting, but I think the series is certainly an acquired taste; and the writing is no less than stellar, with the interesting concept of monsters and how they affect the different kids. The series is like therapy at this point—just way more gross, but very very honest.
Too bad Human Resources got cancelled.
Watch out for the final season of Big Mouth when it premieres on Netflix on May 23.
