10) The Minish Cap
The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap is the second collaboration between Nintendo and Capcom. The Minish Cap is everything you love in a 2D Zelda game in one portable package. It has an art style similar to Wind Waker, and a fun, whimsical tone to match. It takes you back to the series roots, while exploring a brand new perspective. It’s an effortlessly charming game and uses it’s Honey I Shrunk the Kids concept to perfection. The Minish Cap tells the story of the original Link (at the time, Skyward Sword changed that) and how he got his legendary cap. It provides backstory to the villain Vatii, first introduced in Four Swords and makes him an interesting and fresh character. With one of the best companion character companions, Ezlo, The Minish Cap is a great chapter in the Zelda series and deserves this spot on the list.
