Sony is really taking Tom Holland for a ride. After casting him as Spider-Man, they’ve also got him leading the Uncharted movie as Nathan Drake. The movie is currently undergoing production, and just now Holland has shared a first look at his Nathan Drake in full costume.

While Holland may not be sporting the signature crew cut of Nathan Drake from the games, he is wearing the white long sleeve shirt and holsters that Drake wears in the first game. You can also see that he’s wearing Francis Drake’s ring with the engraving sic parvis magna (meaning Thus great things from small things come).

You’ll also notice that Holland is standing on what looks to be an old-timey ship. While Drake is notorious for visiting ancient runes, I think the damage on that ship looks fairly new. I guess it isn’t an Uncharted movie if it won’t have Drake running from enemies and swinging on ropes.

Though we do have a look at Holland now, a lot of fans are curious on Mark Wahlberg’s look for Sully. While a lot of people think that Wahlberg has been severely miscast for the part, I guess people would think differently if they actually saw him in costume.

With a drop of the first image now, I can’t help but think that a teaser is on the horizon; maybe next month, or next week. Hopefully it will be before the year ends.

Uncharted is set to hit theaters on July 16, 2021.
