With Thor blasting off with the Guardians of the Galaxy by the end of Avengers: Endgame, it would make sense that the crew would be back with Thor for Love and Thunder. The movie is currently undergoing production in Australia, and we have some set photos that reveal new costumes for Thor, Star-Lord, and more.

As you can see, Thor has clearly lost all the weight from the first movie, and is now wearing some kind of 80s inspired outfit. What’s cool is, Thor looks to have some yellow bandages on his feet, not unlike the ones from his original comic look.

Besides Thor and Star-Lord, there are also photos of Nebula (Karen Gillian) and Sean Gunn (Kraglin, Rocket Racoon). As we saw from Guardians Vol. 2, Kraglin has inherited Yondu’s arrow, and he has a whole new control fin on the top of his head. We don’t know if this is going to be the final design, but the tracking dots on it could mean that it could be changed with CG.
The MCU had faced a major delay when it came to 2020, but now Phase 4 has launched with WandaVision on Disney+. We don’t know if Marvel is going to face any more major delays, but with vaccines coming out, we’re slowly getting closer to getting back to normal.
For now, Thor: Love and Thunder is set to hit theaters on May 6, 2022.
