As promised, we have a new sneak peek for The Mandalorian, and though it doesn’t really give us a look at any of the new incoming characters, we do have one face returning from the first season.
As you can see in a brief clip, the Mythrol from the pilot episode played by Horatio Sanz, makes a return; and for some reason, he’s inside the troop transport with Greef and Cara. We don’t really know why he’s back, but seeing as he had a bounty on him in the first season, he must be valuable to somebody.
What’s also interesting is that we get to see the inside of the trooper transport. Since that thing was originally a toy from the Kenner days of Star Wars figures, it was actually pretty great that Favreau found a way to make it canon. Now we’ll actually get to see the vehicle in action, and we even get to see the inside.
Admittedly, some people were disappointed that we didn’t get a glimpse of Ahsoka or Captain Rex, but it’s probably for the best, seeing that the show is expected to premiere in 10 days. Hopefully after the first episode, we get to have a new teaser that gives us an idea of what’s to come for the following episodes.
Personally, I think the promotion for Mando for this season has been a tad messy, but I guess it will all be worth it when the show finally comes back on the air.
The Mandalorian Season 2 premieres on Disney+ this coming Oct. 30.
