The latest installment in the\u00a0Star Wars\u00a0movies will be the longest ever in franchise history \u2013 a whopping 150 minutes, or two and a half hours, with credits.\r\n\r\nNews of the movie\u2019s runtime came from a press conference in Paris where Rian Johnson confirmed it. The 150-minute runtime had previously been listed at several theatres, but it was only when Johnson confirmed it that it was taken seriously. The large length of the movie should have fans jovial since this\u00a0Star Wars\u00a0has so much to resolve.\r\nStar Wars: Revenge of the Sith\u00a0had previously held the record for the longest Star Wars movie at 140-minutes, with\u00a0Star Wars: The Force Awakens\u00a0close after at 124-minutes. Rian Johnson is quite happy with Disney as of late; especially since he\u2019s looking forward to a brand new\u00a0Star Wars\u00a0trilogy separate from\u00a0\u00a0the Luke Skywalker Saga.\r\n\r\nWith the release date for\u00a0Star Wars: The Last Jedi\u00a0set for December 15th, it won\u2019t be much longer until the world will get to witness the longest\u00a0Star Wars\u00a0movie in history.
