Disney Pixar’s Soul was originally set to come out this month, but seeing as the Coronavirus is still here, we’re going to have to wait a bit longer till we can go back to theaters. To promote the new November release date for the movie, the studio has decided to drop a new teaser for the film.

Check it out:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qNYcwbEL-pg

While we don’t get to see any of the more ‘fantastical’ elements of the movie, the teaser for Soul does give us a look at the very rich world that Pixar has built for the film. I have to say, they’ve really upped the aesthetic for this movie, and these cartoon caricatures just got a step closer to looking like real people.

Though earlier teasers were very focused on showing us glimpses of Joe’s journey in the afterlife, it looks like this preview for Soul is presenting us with the emotional stakes of the movie in what looks to be Joe’s relationship with his father, maybe even his wife. I’m honestly just guessing at this point.

What is it that makes you...YOU? This November, Pixar Animation Studios’ all-new feature film “Soul” introduces Joe Gardner (voice of Jamie Foxx) – a middle-school band teacher who gets the chance of a lifetime to play at the best jazz club in town. But one small misstep takes him from the streets of New York City to The Great Before – a fantastical place where new souls get their personalities, quirks and interests before they go to Earth. Determined to return to his life, Joe teams up with a precocious soul, 22 (voice of Tina Fey), who has never understood the appeal of the human experience. As Joe desperately tries to show 22 what’s great about living, he may just discover the answers to some of life’s most important questions.

Catch Disney Pixar’s Soul when it comes out in theaters Nov. 20.
