FXX’s Archer still continues to release seasons, and the series is set to return later this month. Just in, we have a new trailer for Archer 13.

Watch the trailer for the newest season of Archer down here:

The official synopsis reads:

In season 13 of FX‘s comedy Archer, The Agency have been acquired by the spy conglomerate known as IIA (International Intelligence Agency). As Archer and gang struggle to find their identity performing odd missions for Fabian, one question arises: will they be able to maintain independence, or will they succumb to their corporate overlords?

After years of switching up the genre, it looks like the series has come back to form with everyone in the office returning to their espionage roles.

With Jessica Walter’s death last year though, a lot of fans are wondering what the series is going to do with the character of Mallory. For now, it looks like they’re having her take some sort of break, but seeing that the relationship between Mallory and Archer is one of the foundations of the show, I expect the show to send Walter off in fantastic fashion.

You have to hand it to Archer for lasting this long over the years. The series has managed to poke fun at a lot of things and has reinvented itself time and time again. We don’t know when Adam Reed eventually plans to close to the book on Archer, but as long as the laughs keep coming, I’m not really complaining.

Archer 13 premieres on FXX this coming Aug. 24.

Little Demon: Aubrey Plaza and Danny DeVito Set to Star in Animated Horror Sitcom https://www.geekfeed.com/little-demon-aubrey-plaza-and-danny-devito-set-to-star-in-animated-horror-sitcom/ Thu, 13 May 2021 09:08:51 +0000 https://www.geekfeed.com/?p=59500 Danny DeVito (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) and Aubrey Plaza (Parks and Recreation) star in two of the most highly praised sitcoms today, and now news has it that the duo are teaming up for an animated horror sitcom on FXX.

As per Variety, DeVito and Plaza will be providing their voices for a show called Little Demon. The series has a reluctant mother (Plaza) impregnated by the Devil (DeVito), and thirteen years later finds her antichrist daughter (Lucy DeVito) in a weird custody battle where the mother and daughter just try to live normal lives and are constantly thwarted by Satan and his minions.

The series is created by Darcy Fowler, Seth Kirschner, and Kieren Valla who will all serve as writers for Little Demon. What’s interesting is that Rick and Morty co-creator Dan Harmon is also attached to the series as an executive producer, alongside Plaza as well as the DeVitos Danny, Lucy, and Jake.

We don’t have any key visuals for the show yet, but knowing Plaza’s public image, it seems right in her alley to play the mother of the antichrist; and it this point, Danny DeVito can pretty much play anyone and people will love him whatever he does.

Though we don’t have a good look at Little Demon yet, I can imagine Harmon’s involvement is going to make this a show that’s silly on the surface, but still has something more meaningful and ‘real’ at the very heart of it. Until FXX gives us more, all we can really do is wait.

No release date has been set for FXX’s Little Demon.
