Disney has begun laying off 20th Century Fox employees know that it\u2019s completed its acquisition of 21st Century Fox and the company\u2019s various film and television assets.\r\n\r\nAccording to The Hollywood Reporter, Disney has started informing Fox\u2019s staffers from different departments about their status. While some were given their pink slips, others were being kept on for a transitional period between three to six months. The Mickey Mouse House has just chopped off some of those in top leadership roles at Fox in including Pamela Levine, the President of Worldwide marketing, Kevin Campbell, the Co-President of marketing, and Tony Sella, Chief Of The Content Officer.\r\n\r\nRight now it isn\u2019t exactly clear how many people are going to lose their jobs in the face of the acquisition, however, some analysts estimate a rough number of 4,000 individuals from the conglomerate\u2019s 200, 000 employees could become jobless. While redundancies in major company mergers are unavoidable, the layoffs certainly dampen the spirit of those anticipating the acquisition. Marvel fans have been eagerly waiting for the completion of the deal knowing that it would mean the arrival of the X-Men and Fantastic Four in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
