Stephen Amell Teases Arrowverse Crossover With On-Set Image

Ever since Flash and Arrow crossed over on their first and third seasons respectively, the highlight of The CW‘s superhero season has been the multi-episode crossovers which unite the various DC characters running around. Last year saw the Scarlet Speedster and the Emerald Archer joining with Hawkman and Hawkgirl to launch Legends of Tomorrow, but this year will be the biggest yet. With Supergirl now having moved to the network, we should expect a mega four-way crossover that sees the Girl of Steel meet Barry Allen again and Oliver Queen and the crew of the Waverider for the first time.

We recently learnt a little bit more about the threat the heroes will face in the crossover, and now Stephen Amell has given us our first glimpse of all the costumed crusaders united. The Arrow actor took to his Twitter account to share an image of some feet that really shouldn’t be as exciting as it is. Check it out below:

From left to right, we have the hi-tech boots of Ray Palmer AKA Atom (Brandon Routh), the Green Arrow’s lace-ups, Grant Gustin’s Flash feet, Caity Lotz’ White Canary shoewear and Melissa Benoist’s super boots. We’re pretty sure that filming on the four-way crossover hasn’t started yet (it’s due on our screens in December), so it seems likely that this group have been instead brought together for a photo shoot to promote the team-up. If this is the case, hopefully we’ll see some official images of the group appear online soon.

It’s not long now until these shows come back on the airways. The Flash arrives first on Tuesday 4th October, with Arrow starting the next day on Wednesday 5th. Supergirl, meanwhile, begins the following week on Monday 10th – with Legends of Tomorrow following on Thursday 13th.
