Lucasfilm has always been secretive when it comes to Star Wars, and a lot of things have been kept under wraps for the highly anticipated Disney+ series, The Mandalorian. While Pedro Pascal’s lead character is the main “Mando” of the show, a toy leak has revealed another Mandalorian coming to the series.
Yakface on Twitter has described this as the ‘Heavy Infantry Mandalorian’, confirming we’ll see other citizens of Mandalore in the show:

We don’t really know where this guy is set to show up, but you can see the variation in the armor, plus the extra heft. We know that Pascal’s Mandalorian is going to forging his armor in the show, and it looks like this guy already has his full set—complete with jetpack.
Of course, I’m just making a guess here. It’s possible this guy is part of a flashback, and some scenes from the teaser have been speculated to be a depiction of the droids attacking Mandalore. Everyone thinks it’s part of the main Mando’s origin story, but it’s likely it could be for something else. Then again, I’m looking forward to seeing some prequel era elements updated with modern CG. I bet the droids would look fantastic.
After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.
For now, The Mandalorian is set to debut on Disney+ which launches Nov. 12.
