We don’t have too long to wait to see Tom Holland’s Spider-Man in Spider-Man: Homecoming. And now new set images have surfaced from the set in Atlanta, Georgia. showing stunt doubles hanging from a helicopter. One is donning the red Spidey suit, whilst the other appears to be portraying Spider-Man’s love interest, Mary Jane Watson.
In the images, which you can see below, you can see the pair filming those web-slinging scenes that Spider-Man is well-known for. No radioactive spiders have been biting these stunt doubles however, as you can clearly see the wires keeping them up. We’re sure that everything will look slick and polished in the final cut, though.
In addition to this, both “Spider-Man” and “Mary Jane” appear to be taking selfies as they’re suspended high above. I mean, who wouldn’t want to take a selfie if they were that far up above everything?

Spider-Man: Homecoming is the first joint venture that Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures have undertaken. We’ve been desperate to see Spidey in the MCU, though. Finally, with Sony seeing the success that Marvel Studios have had with films such as The Avengers and Captain America, they’ve decided to collaborate on this Spidey adventure.
Most of us remember the excitement in the cinema when Toby Maguire swung into shot as Spider-Man back in 2002. Well, Tom Holland’s rendition is already looking strong with only a few minutes air-time in Captain America: Civil War so far. With Spider-Man back where he belongs with Marvel, we’re keen to see what the studio does differently with the web-slinger. We’ll know for certain when July 2017 comes.
Alongside Holland, Homecoming stars Zendaya, Robert Downey Jr., Marisa Tomei, Michael Keaton, Donald Glover and many others.
