Following up the 2014 smash-hit The LEGO Movie is no small feat. In order to come anywhere close to the original, you’re gonna need an awesome main character. Thankfully, we have a Batman. And this new trailer coming out of San Diego Comic-Con proves that even our greatest heroes need a bit of management.

The plot is thus: Alfred (voiced by Ralph Fiennes) thinks that Batman (Will Arnett) spends too much time on his own, brooding about everything, staying up late and wearing black all the time. Basically, Batman is a moody teenager. So he asks Batman to actually look after the kid he adopted, Dick Grayson (Michael Cera). The two team up as Batman and Robin and need to save Gotham City from the Joker (Zack Galifianakis).

Now look, we know that the trailers for Justice League and Wonder Woman look awesome, but this trailer is incredible. The jokes are absolutely everywhere, but you get the sense that the marketing campaign is just getting started. Michael Cera absolutely nails this childish, optimistic version of Robin, and their dynamic looks set to be one to remember. Also, the origin for Robin’s costume is genius.

Come on, Batman! Let’s get groovin’! The LEGO Batman Movie will be released in February 2017.
