While The Flash was off this week, that doesn’t mean there hasn’t been big developments on the show. A new set of episode descriptions for the first full week in March have been released, and they suggest a return for Savitar. There’s also some big developments on Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl, so we’ve got a lot to look forward to.
Starting with Supergirl, which kicks off the week with Kara conducting an interview with her boss. It seems like the quest to find Jeremiah Danvers will be a key part to the run in, as his name pops up for the second week in a row:
SNAPPER CARR INTERVIEWS SUPERGIRL – As Alex (Chyler Leigh) searches for Jeremiah (guest star Dean Cain) and Kara (Melissa Benoist) investigates a series of alien kidnappings, the sisters realize they must break the rules to foil a new Cadmus plot. In an effort to get Snapper Carr (guest star Ian Gomez) to run a story that would help her stop Cadmus, Kara agrees to set up an interview between Snapper and Supergirl. Michael Allowitz directed the episode written by Paula Yoo + Eric Carrasco.
Tuesday night sees a double bill of CW/DC action, kicking off with The Flash. The description for this episode is brief, so expect some serious ramifications from the episode on March 7. After all, it’s titled ‘The Wrath of Savitar’, so it’s bound to be a key part in the team’s quest to stop the Speedster god:
SAVITAR VISITS WALLY – While training with Barry (Grant Gustin), Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) starts to have visions of Savitar, which he hides from the team. A dangerous secret threatens Barry and Iris’ (Candice Patton) happiness. Alexandra La Roche directed the episode written by Andrew Kreisberg & Andrew Wilder.
That’s followed by Legends of Tomorrow, which will be less than a month of the end of Season 2 when this episode airs. Episode 13 sees the team going further back than ever before. It seems like the evil Rip Hunter storyline is set to continue, even though he’s going to be back on the Waverider:
A DIVIDED MIND — After capturing Rip (Arthur Darvill), he forces the Waverider to crash, leaving the Legends stuck seventy million years in the past. Ray (Brandon Routh) leads Amaya (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) and Nate (Nick Zano) to recover a vital piece of the ship. In an effort to get the “good” Rip back, Rory (Dominic Purcell) suggests they enter Rip’s mind, but what Sara (Caity Lotz) and Jax (Franz Drameh) discover in his subconscious is not pleasant and they must fight evil versions of themselves. Meanwhile, Nate and Amaya continue to get closer, but it could cause serious ramifications. Victor Garber also stars. Ralph Hemecker directed the episode written by Keto Shimizu & Ray Utarnaachitt.
With no new episode of Arrow, that’s all for the CW action. Even without the original Arrowverse show, there still a lot going on. After recent filler adventures, hopefully this sees all three shows get back on track.
