Star Wars Celebration had revealed a new character coming to the Legacy of Vader comics in the form of Tava Ren, and a variant cover has been released which makes her look an awful lot like one infamous Elden Ring boss.

With the flowing red hair and the knight-inspired mask, a lot of fans in the comments are already comparing her to Malenia Blade of Miquella infamously one of the most difficult bosses to take on in Elden Ring.
What’s funny is that Elden Ring has a community hero called “Let Me Solo Her” who is known for being very adept at fighting Malenia by themselves with absolutely no armor. We don’t know if any of that lore inspired the creation of Tava, but some are already suspecting that she may have something to do with Kylo Ren’s weakness for Rey when he meets her in the Sequel Trilogy.
So far, Tava is described as a new leader of the Knights of Ren, but seeing as she’s nowhere to be found in the Sequels, it’s very likely that she’s been killed by that time. There’s admittedly still a lot of mystery surrounding the Knights, so it was a no-brainer that they would keep getting some expanded material with the comics.
Who knows, maybe they can rise again in the next Rey Skywalker movie. I’m pretty sure Rey vs. Tava would be fantastic to watch unfold on the big screen.
Star Wars: Legacy of Vader #8 from Marvel Comics is expected to come out Sept. 3.
