Well, we’ve already played the game once this year. If that confuses you, no worries, we won’t spoil it here; but seriously, what are you waiting for? Shawn Layden may be the new king of teases and took his crown tonight when he walked on stage, in a suit, not wearing a Crash shirt, and revealed that Activision and PlayStation have been working closely together to bring the beloved PlayStation 1 classic back home.
You read that correctly, the fox-looking bandicoot is set to make his grand return, but it won’t be as a new game. Instead, the series will receive a remaster for Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, and Crash Bandicoot Warped.
But pause, wait a minute, please. That is not all! Everyone’s favorite Bandicoot (seriously, ARE Bandicoots real?) will also appear in Skylanders Imaginators later this year, so that’s fun. But the real highlight remains the awesome news that the series is getting a PS4 remaster! It’s too good to be true. Nostalgia wins after all, and PlayStation fans couldn’t be happier.
