Besides the arrival of Shazam!, April will have another comic book hero gracing the screens with the Hellboy reboot. A red band trailer has been dropped by Lionsgate, and it gives us a lot more to look at in the movie.

Based on the graphic novels by Mike Mignola, Hellboy, caught between the worlds of the supernatural and human, battles an ancient sorceress bent on revenge.
While the first trailer tries to be a bit more Guardians of the Galaxy about the tone, this trailer gives the movie are more classic fantasy vibe; but that doesn’t mean it’s short on jokes either. We still have a lot of Hellboy’s sense of humor in the trailer; albeit I don’t think some of the jokes land that well.
The movie admittedly looks great, and unlike the Guillermo del Toro version, it looks like this film will show us the beginnings of Hellboy as he works for the BPRD. In the del Toro movies, he was already working for them when we meet him. I guess it would be a fun build up before we meet the likes of Abe Sapien or Liz Sherman.
