Quentin Tarantino is set to release his next film later this year, and we finally have our full look at Once Upon a Time in Hollywood:
Here’s the official description:
Quentin Tarantino’s ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD visits 1969 Los Angeles, where everything is changing, as TV star Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt) make their way around an industry they hardly recognize anymore. The ninth film from the writer-director features a large ensemble cast and multiple storylines in a tribute to the final moments of Hollywood’s golden age.
While the movie is centered on two fictional people, the film is filled with a lot of actual celebrities from Bruce Lee to… Charles Manson? Just in case you didn’t know, Margot Robbie is playing Sharon Tate, an actress who was murdered by the Manson family under orders. We don’t know how big her role in this movie will be, but I’m sure the film is banking on a lot of people knowing that Tate was one of Manson’s most famous victims. Hopefully, Tarantino pulls another Inglourious Basterds and has Tate actually survive this time around.
The film boasts a star-studded cast, and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for Tarantino’s ninth film. We know that he’s supposed to be working on a Star Trek film, but I’d like to see how this one turns out first.
