[SPOILERS FOR RIAN JOHNSON’S KNIVES OUT]
After Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Rian Johnson found some more success with his whodunit movie Knives Out. The movie has been release in-home, and what’s great is, the Blu-Ray slip cover has a neat Easter Egg that spoils the movie.

If you flip the cover, the knives on the back of the cover will reveal the true villain of the movie— Chris Evans’ Ransom. It’s a pretty neat design, and it feels like something Hideo Kojima would have come up with.
For now, Johnson is set to work on a sequel to Knives Out. We don’t know what kind of story he has in store, but we do know that Daniel Craig’s Benoit Blanc is coming back. What I would love is if Johnson made a play on another established mystery genre. Maybe he could play around with a conspiracy story like Da Vinci Code, but that’s just my little pitch.
We don’t have a release date for the Knives Out sequel yet, but the movie will probably shoot sometime in 2021, making way for a theatrical release in 2022. I guess it depends on how thought out Johnson’s sequel script is already.

Now, Blanc must sift through a web of lies and red herrings to uncover the truth.
