The last Marvel Netflix series to come out was The Punisher late last year, and now we have an announcement on the first Defender series for 2018. Krysten Ritter has just announced the air date for Jessica Jones 2.

For now, we still don’t have a solid story for the second season of Jessica Jones, but with the release date so close, I guess we’re going to get a trailer and synopsis soon. Best guess is we’re going to see Jessica’s P.I. Business to flourish, this time with Malcolm having a more substantial role as Jessica’s assistant.
Though David Tennant’s Kilgrave was killed in the first season, set photos have confirmed that he’ll be making a return for season two. I’d be okay with Jessica just being haunted by the memory of Kilgrave, but I think it would be cool if Kilgrave has somehow found a way to survive without a body and just linger in Jessica’s psyche.
Ever since the release of Iron Fist and The Defenders, it seems that interest for Marvel Netflix series has gone down. Even The Punisher found that the audiences were losing interest in the latter half of the season. Hopefully, Jessica Jones manages to boost interest in the Marvel Netflix world again.
Jessica Jones 2 comes out March 8.
