Infinity War’s Joe Russo Shares a Community Mini-Reunion

The Russo Brothers may be directing the next two Avengers films, but a lot of people still remember them for their work on the cult show Community. It’s been three years since the show ended, but Joe Russo has taken the time to share this small reunion with a bunch of cast mates.

What’s interesting is, two out of the three cast members in the picture (Danny Pudi and Jim Rash) have appeared in MCU movies; Pudi in Captain America: Winter Soldier and Rash in Civil War. Now I’m curious if this reunion means that Joel McHale will be the next Community cast member to make a cameo in an MCU movie.

It’s also worth noting that the post also includes the #sixseasonsandamovie hashtag. It was a running gag in the series way back when, and a lot of people are still hopeful that this movie will bring all the original cast members together.

If McHale isn’t appearing in Infinity War, there’s still a whole bunch of Community alumni that could cameo in the film. You have the likes of Alison Brie, Gillian Jacobs, Yvette-Nicole Brown, Chevy Chase, and Donald Glover due for an appearance; there’s also Ken Jeong and maybe even John Oliver.

We don’t know when the Community movie will come out, but hopefully, we’ll get the announcement soon. Why do I have a feeling it’s going to be on Netflix?
