Harvey Dent/Two-Face was in the Latest Joker: Folie a Deux Trailer

We know that Harley Quinn is going to be the co-lead of the Joker sequel, but some fans have found out that another Batman rogue is actually in the latest trailer released.

If you check out the closed captions on the trailer, you’ll know that it’s actually Harvey Dent/Two-Face talking on the radio, and it looks like he’s the prosecutor who is going to be going up against Arthur Fleck.

On the radio, Dent says, “They believe Arthur Fleck to be some kind of martyr. Well, he’s not. He’s a monster.”

It still hasn’t been revealed who is going to be playing Dent in the movie, but rumors have suggested that he’s going to be played by Harry Lawtey. If anything, it sounds like Dent is closer to his middle age, so I think he would be played by an older actor.

For a while, I actually had hope that it was Steve Coogan who was going to play Dent, but like Robert De Niro in the first movie, it looks like Coogan is just playing a journalist who is going to interview the Joker as he goes on trial.

Going back to Dent though, I don’t really expect him to have a large role in the film. Wishful thinking would have him undergoing his origin story in this film. After all, he’s prosecuting the Joker, and Arthur has a ton of supporters. What are the odds that someone just throws acid on his face as he’s walking to or from the courthouse?

I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. How funny would it be if they got Alec Baldwin to play Dent; since he was the original choice to play Thomas Wayne, but dropped out?

Catch Joker: Folie a Deux when it comes to cinemas on Oct. 4.
