Rumor and Speculation: Due to the dearth of information, we’re left wondering if this is still a standalone WB is pursuing. But with the scheduled release roughly three years out, the lack of detail is not yet disconcerting.
At their SDCC 2017 presentation, the studio laid out a plan for all films coming up next in their DCEU slate. Cyborg’s standalone was not among them. This doesn’t mean his movie is no longer on the horizon. With a 2020 date seemingly still in play, perhaps they aren’t ready to talk shop yet.
