So, after six seasons and two episodes, Game of Thrones fans’ dreams are about to come true. Though, it’s been painstaking getting to this point. Furthermore, we’ve seen a huge cast of stars reduced to around twenty big players fighting for the throne. Yet, this Sunday, the Songs of Ice and Fire will finally become one. We will see Daenerys Targaryen meet the King of the North, Jon Snow, at Dragonstone.
In anticipation for the meeting, HBO have released new images from the third episode. With a title like The Queen’s Justice, it looks likely that this episode will focus on the Queens of Westeros. In the collection of pictures we see the Targaryen herself, as well as her cohort of followers. As well as this, we see Jon Snow and Ser Davos enter. The pair are keen to make an alliance with the Queen to battle Cersei. Yet, more importantly, Jon needs Dragonstone’s dragonglass to defeat the White Walkers.

As well as this, Collider are also reporting that the final ever episodes of GoT are now written:
“During HBO’s panel at the Television Critics Association press tour, network programming president Casey Bloys revealed that the final season of Game of Thrones has already been written and showrunner D.B. Weiss and David Benioff are in the process of storyboarding the episodes to determine how long the Season 8 shoot will need to be. “It’s a big season,” saidBloys. “They’re trying to get a sense of how long it’s going to take them to shoot this.””
According to Collider, however, this could mean waiting longer for season eight. Instead of airing in 2018, the show would return in 2019. Yet, can we wait a whole year to see the series tied up? More action-packed battles, dragons and super wolf-packs say that we can.
