This incredibly short trailer puts the “teaser” in teaser trailer, but it’s still pretty awesome. Yes, that was Jason at the door. Yes, that was Jason attacking, no destroying, the door. Not much for knocking with kindness, is he?
Last year, the game’s developer, Gun Media, launched a crowd-funding campaign to give the killer of Camp Crystal Lake the game he’s always deserved. In no time, the game was backed in full and is expected to launch this Fall on PS4, PC, and Xbox One. The following statement was launched when the game’s Kickstarter began:
For the first time since 1989, you have the opportunity to help bring a Friday the 13th video game to life! Stalk camp counselors across Crystal Lake as Jason Voorhees, or assume the role of a helpless camper and attempt to survive the night. Come be a part of this incredible moment in video game and horror history! We definitely can’t do it without you.
Over $800,000 in support later and there’s finally a little something to show for it. Let us know what you think of the teaser in the comments below.
