It was 2013 when the first Now You See Me movie came out, and everyone thought the franchise had fizzled out by 2016 when Now You See Me 2 released. Now almost 10 years later, Jesse Eisenberg and the rest of the main cast are back with a third movie set to release this November.
Here’s our first look at Now You See Me: Now You Don’t:
Though Islan Fischer may have skipped out on the last movie, it looks like she’ll be back for Now You Don’t. Besides her, they’ve decided to double the cast of magicians with the inclusion of Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa, Ariana Greenblatt—and on their side now, Morgan Freeman.
I am hoping that they found a way to address Lizzy Caplan not being in the movie though. Wouldn’t be so bad to have one more Daniel Radcliffe cameo.
With Jon M. Chu directing the last one, this third movie now has Ruben Fleischer at the helm, which should make him right at home with Jesse Eisenberg and Woody Harrelson since Fleischer directed Zombieland with them.
I’ll admit, this series has always been kind of underwhelming, but they’re still fun action flicks. I don’t know what it means that there are more magicians now, but at least it finally has a title that won’t have Dan Harmon ranting about it.
Catch Now You See Me: Now You Don’t when it comes to cinemas on Nov. 14.
