With production for the Venom movie wrapping and the movie set to come out this October, it’s high time that we got some marketing for Sony’s Spider-Man spinoff. Good news is, we now have a first poster for the film, and we could possibly be getting the trailer tomorrow.

Despite skipping the Super Bowl, Venom still manages to be relevant in this week full of reveals. Besides getting the first teasers for the Solo movie, we also got the trailer for the Deadpool sequel. Let’s hope that this “tomorrow” teaser is supposed to be the Venom trailer.
With a release set this October, Venom will actually be able to stand out on its own in the box office; not like the months of March and May where blockbusters will be competing for the audience. May alone will see the release of Avengers: Infinity War, Deadpool 2, and Solo: A Star Wars Story.
Opinions for the Venom movie have been mixed so far with the biggest complaint about the film possibly being set outside the MCU. A lot of people are crossing their fingers, however, that the rumors that Tom Holland will cameo as Peter Parker are true. Why make a Venom movie if he’ll never cross over with Spider-Man?
The Venom spinoff is set to come out Oct. 5.
