The hope for a Rian Johnson Star Wars trilogy grows dimmer every year, but at least he’s been delivering some solid bangers with the Knives Out franchise.

A third film called Wake Up Dead Man has been announced a while back, and thanks to Empire, fans have a first look at a returning Benoit Blanc who is looking a bit worse for wear this time around. Check this out:

Alongside Craig in the pic is Josh O’Connor, who had recently turned heads with his role as a co-lead in Challengers.

While no official plot has been revealed for the new Knives Out movie, some have been speculating that there could be some kind of supernatural element to it, as Johnson did caption the first look at the film with “See you on the other side.”

Just like any other Rian Johnson project, Wake Up has also managed to amass some great talent, and besides Craig and O’Connor, the movie is going to feature Cailee Spaeny, Andrew Scott, Glenn Close, Kerry Washington, Josh Brolin, Thomas Haden Church, and Mila Kunis.

This time they’re also bringing in Jeremy Renner who may have an actual appearance as compared to his hot sauce cameo in the last movie.

With this and the second season of Poker Face, it does seem like Johnson has a lot on his plate. I still have my hopes up we’ll see another Star War from him in probably 10 years—sometime when the toxic fandom has moved on to be populated by Sequel Trilogy lovers.

No specific release date has been revealed for Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, but it’s expected to hit Netflix sometime later this year.
