Andor has been the show that others point to when it comes to “mature” Star Wars, and the series isn’t shy to have people swear and actually have sex.
What’s interesting is, a new clip from the series implies that there will be a sex scene between Imperials Dedra Merro (Denise Gough) and Syril Karn (Kyle Soller). Check this out:

To recap, Syril is an Imperial loyalist who lost his security job, but he managed to show fierce dedication to the Empire and even saved Dedra by the end of the show, despite Dedra initially avoiding his advances.
We don’t know exactly what led to this moment in the series, but it’s possible that Dedra is finding anyone loyal to her, and Syril pretty much fits the bill. It’s even possible that this couldn’t be a sex scene, but rather Dedra assigning him with a secret mission. In the meantime, fans are having their fun:

Admittedly, I am on the team that wants to see the two hook-up, seeing that they only really have each other; plus villains in Star Wars can be romantic too right?
The next season of Andor is expected to be the last, with the season tying up all the threads to point to the events of Rogue One. It’s sad to see the series go, but I am hopeful that Lucasfilm keeps releasing more shows in the same vein down the line. Heck, give the Rey movie this kind of maturity of you can.
Watch out for Andor Season 2 when it premieres on Disney+ on April 22.
