When it comes to action figure collectibles, Hasbro has managed to set itself apart thanks to its photo-real tech for Marvel and Star Wars figures. Nevertheless, there are some slip-ups even now, and fans can’t stop making fun of Target’s exclusive Mandalorian figure.

Check it out:

As you can see, the figure doesn’t do a great job of replicating Pedro Pascal’s face. If anything, it looks like Pascal if he was recovering from an attack of angry bees. This botch job isn’t that unfamiliar with Hasbro either, as a lot of people also thought that they haven’t made a good Poe Dameron figure that actually looks like Oscar Isaac.

Of course, these are just promotional shots for now. If I’ve learned anything from collecting, it’s that that figure always looks way more different on hand than it does in the photos. Maybe the figure will look fine once it hits shelves. Then again, who is going to display their Mando figure without the helmet?

After a wave of figures that honestly nobody cared about, a lot of people are ready to see what Hasbro has in store for the future. We’re still very short on figures from The Rise of Skywalker, and there are also some characters from Mandalorian that deserve to be immortalized in plastic. How could you not get a Mayfeld figure? I’m sure even non-Star Wars fans will buy that one just to get their hands on a tiny Bill Burr.

For now, fans wait for the release of The Mandalorian Season 2 on Disney+.
