Fan Made ‘Justice League’ Trailer Preps for Darkseid

The public was recently given a deluge of information about Zack Snyder’s Justice League. However, fans have still yet to see even a glimpse of the film. It’s unfortunate, but understandable for a project 18 months out. Yet some are impatient; rightfully so given the new found energy courtesy of Batman v Superman’s digital release. One fan took that energy and created something awesome — a high octane teaser trailer for Justice League. The teaser uses footage from DCEU films Man of Steel, BvS, and Wonder Woman. It also borrows clips from Independence Day: Resurgence, Green Lantern, and the Injustice 2 announcement trailer. Check it out below.

Of course, the Darkseid heard in the trailer is from an animated version of the character. The Apokolips dictator will play a small part in the film, as Steppenwolf is the lead supervillain, but his commanding voice is still well utilized here. Admittedly, the video isn’t perfect; however, creator Stu Whitten couldn’t have put forward a better effort. It’s bombastic, fast paced, and fun to watch. Hopefully, some of these elements are seen on display in the film’s actual first trailer.

“Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.”

Justice League opens in theaters on November 17, 2017.
