Fresh from the successes of Suicide Squad and Star Wars: The Force Awakens, exclusive photography reveals that Domhnall Gleeson and Margot Robbie are pairing up for a new film based on A.A. Milne, the creator of Winnie the Pooh. Whilst the title has yet to be revealed for the film, the images reveal Gleeson and Robbie as Milne and his wife, Daphne – as well as their son, Christopher Robin. See the photos below:
And here is Christopher Robin (Milne) himself:
To go with the exclusive photographs, Fox Searchlight Pictures have also released the following details:

Christian adds, “It’s such a joy to be able to share the long held passion that I’ve felt for this story and to see it all come together with a team that I could never have dreamt possible.”The UNTITLED A.A. MILNE PROJECT film gives a rare glimpse into the relationship between beloved children’s author A. A. Milne (Domhnall Gleeson) and his son Christopher Robin, whose toys inspired the magical world of Winnie the Pooh. Along with his mother Daphne (Margot Robbie), and his nanny Olive (Kelly Macdonald), Christopher Robin and his family are swept up in the international success of the books; the enchanting tales bringing hope and comfort to England after the First World War. But with the eyes of the world on Christopher Robin, what will the cost be to the family? Joining Curtis on the film are director of photography Ben Smithard, who collaborated with him on MY WEEK WITH MARILYN and “Cranford”; BAFTA-winning production designer David Roger (“The Secret Agent”, “Great Expectations”); BAFTA-winning costume designer Odile Dicks-Mireaux (BROOKLYN, THE CONSTANT GARDENER); BAFTA-winning hair and make-up designer Sian Grigg (THE REVENANT, ANNIHILATION) and editor Victoria Boydell (THE SECOND BEST EXOTIC MARIGOLD HOTEL, BELLE).”
Not quite a Winnie the Pooh reboot. However, Domhnall Gleeson and Margot Robbie together in the film? This could be a very interesting dynamic.
