Aquaman is promising some big reveals at SDCC 2018, but as early as last week we’ve been getting a steady stream of new images and updates. Thanks to Den of Geek, we have our first look at all the other characters—including Patrick Wilson in his Ocean Master cowl.
Besides Ocean Master, we also have a look at Black Manta in full costume. There’s also Queen Atlana (Nicole Kidman), Vulko (Willem Dafoe), and King Nereus (Dolph Lundgren).
Recently we also got a look at the Fisherman people (with the king played by Djimon Hounsou), but the poster also gives us a reveal of a group called The Trench. I don’t know if they’re the creatures in the bottom left or bottom right, but it’s possible that both groups are actually part of the same collective.
After the fiasco that was Justice League, DCEU fans are back to wondering what will bring he franchise back on its feet. So far, Wonder Woman is the only film to come out unscathed. It’s time to put James Wan to the test and see if he can deliver a great DCEU film.
Aquaman finds himself caught between a surface world that ravages the sea and the underwater Atlanteans who are ready to revolt.
Aquaman is aiming for a release on Dec. 21.
