Drew Goddard is currently in line to direct the Deadpool spinoff X-Force, but you can catch some of his work this coming October with Bad Times at the El Royale. A new trailer has just dropped, and the film boasts a star-studded cast which includes a very ‘Buffalo Bill’ Chris Hemsworth.

Seven strangers, each with a secret to bury, meet at Lake Tahoe’s El Royale, a rundown hotel with a dark past. Over the course of one fateful night, everyone will have a last shot at redemption… before everything goes to hell.
Besides his work on Netflix’s Daredevil, Goddard is also the man behind The Cabin in the Woods. Coincidentally, that film also starred Chris Hemsworth, and it was also about a group of people who are plagued by horrors as they are stuck in a rundown location.
The trailer is incredibly vague about what we’re getting, but I’m already interested in what the film has to offer. The cast is filled with fantastic actors like Jon Hamm, Jeff Bridges, and Dakota Johnson; plus watching Hemsworth’s intro makes me excited that he’s taking on such a surreal looking role.
Bad Times at the El Royale comes out Oct. 5.
