Though initially scoffed at as another carbon copy of NBC’s The Office, Parks and Recreation has grown to become one of the best comedies today. The show had ended back in 2015, but Leslie Knope herself Amy Phoeler is confident that everyone in the cast will be open for a reunion someday.

Talking to Ellen (along with co-star Nick Offerman), Phoeler says:

“I’ll speak for everybody and say we would all do it. I think we would all do it someday. It would be amazing.”

With there being talk of a revival of The Office, I don’t think it’s that farfetched that we would have a Parks and Recreation reunion somewhere down the line. Chris Pratt has recently come out to say that playing Andy Dwyer was his favorite role, so maybe the whole cast can find the time to shoot one TV special in the next few years.

Sure show basically ended everyone’s stories several years into the future. However, I wouldn’t mind seeing a Parks and Recreation prequel about Leslie and the gang way before we meet them in season one. Maybe we can even have a look between the three-year time jump that occurs in between season six and seven. Maybe we can see more of Jon Hamm’s idiot character Ed.

A Parks and Recreation reunion has not been officially announced, but at least we know Leslie Knope is definitely onboard for it.
