 6. Booster Gold

Good ol’ narcissistic Michael Jon Carter, better known as Booster Gold, is a time-travelling superhero from the 25th Century who fights crime alongside his buddy and sidekick Skeets, who just so happens to be a small flying robot. He’s seriously as awesome as he looks, but many of the heroes he often works with don’t take him seriously, which in turn makes him extremely underestimated.

Yes, technically he’s a thief who stole the gadgets he uses and hijacked a time-machine belonging to Rip Hunter to travel to the modern era, but who cares? He’s a hero and that’s all that matters. He’d be an awesome addition to the Injustice Universe, who could potentially provide plenty of comic relief. Of course, Skeets would have to come along for the ride; the combos created from the robot having a limited set of his own moves could bode well for a character sure to be a fan-favorite.

Additionally, his power suit gives him super strength, flight, the ability to use force fields, shoot powerful energy blasts from his gauntlets, and, best of all, time-travel. It’s sure to work wonders in a fighting game, but what about the time-travel bit? This would likely be best utilized in a very limited manner, perhaps once a round, giving Booster Gold’s opponent the ultimate fake-out when he disappears, and reappears somewhere else. It’s not too much different from a Mortal Kombat character such as Raiden who can disappear and reappear with a simple input. However, to make it more fun, Booster Gold’s ability should allow him to reverse the game clock by a few seconds and return to a previous spot. Honestly, the studio could do no wrong by adding him into the mix with Injustice 2.

NEXT: That girl is poison.
