3) We Still Don’t Know That Much About the Plot
Despite various trailers and teaser clips being incrementally revealed over the months, we don’t really know the ins and outs of Suicide Squad’s plot. This is pretty impressive for a movie in this day and age, where usually we have very little about a film left to find out by the time we sit down in the cinema.
The most recent Comic-Con trailer gave us our best taste yet. It looks likely that the movie’s third act will revolve around that familiar superhero film trope – a big dangerous wormhole in the sky (see The Avengers, Thor: The Dark World and others for more). We also know that there is an as-yet-unidentified black gloopy substance that is causing havoc. It is generally thought that this is in somehow connected to the Enchantress, as played by Cara Delevingne.
