5) Batman Will be a Terrifying Presence
One of Suicide Squad’s worst kept secrets is that it will feature Ben Affleck back as Batman for a couple of cameo scenes. Going by what we’ve seen so far, it can be presumed that Batsy will mostly appear in conjunction with – surprise surprise – the Joker and Harley Quinn.
And as the film will star supervillains, it will feature the superhero from their perspective. As such, he will be presented as a more of a terrifying force than usual. Though Batfleck was pretty intimidating already in Batman v Superman.
“[Batman’s] idea was to terrorize criminals,” Ayer said. “This wraith that comes in the night and attacks and pulls criminals from society. For the first time, we’re seeing Batman from the point of view of the criminals and he’s freaking scary.”
