The release of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End gets more real by the day. It’s launching soon and Naughty Dog has something to show for it. In preparation of its impending release, the studio ran a one-hour livestream preview on their Twitch Channel, showing off the Madagascar level of the game.
Hosted by Naughty Dog Director of Communications Arne Meyer and game designers James Cooper, Nicholas Lance and Zied Rieke, the gameplay livestream also featured commentary. The team discussed the new gameplay mechanics, the game’s length, difficulty settings, photo mode, and much more.
During the stream, which you can watch in full below, you’ll hear Drake and Sully’s infamous banter, see how well the vehicle mechanics control, and learn about the various levels of animation created to make the world of Uncharted feel more realistic than ever before. Multiplayer is also teased to have a wave of new information on the horizon, before release.
We’ll see if Drake’s adventures have been worth the struggle once his last go at treasure and fortune hits PS4 on May 10.
