With Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End just a couple of months away, Naughty Dog gave PlayStation’s video team access to behind-the-scenes footage and interviews. The third episode, “Pushing Technical Boundaries,” focuses on how the game takes advantage of the PlayStation’s boost of power between Uncharted 3 and Uncharted 4.

The most significant information, to some fans, may be that the spaces in the new title will be “ten times the size of explorable space” in comparison to the other three games. While the game will maintain the series’ familiar linearity, still going from “point A to point B,” now “there’s just different branches to get there.” This has resulted in the team’s increasing “the density of detail and the size of the world, all at the same time.”
