We’re now only a matter of weeks away from reuniting with our favourite group of bike riding, bickering, Demogorgon defeating kids, when Stranger Things 2 hits Netflix on October 27th. So until then we’ll take anything we can get to satisfy the feverish anticipation, and Netflix have helped by releasing this quirky little promotional video in which they ask you what strange things took place in 1984, the year after Will Byers disappeared.

Returning to the leafy town of Hawkins in the fall of 1984, the story continues for our foursome when mysterious goings-on once again begin to affect the town. They coincide with former upsidedown dweller, Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) beginning to show signs that not all is well, having vomited that slug down the plughole at the end of season one. It’ll be up to our proton back wearing threesome – Mike Wheeler (Finn Wolfhard – IT), Dustin Henderson (Gaten Matarazzo), and Lucas Sinclair (Caleb McLaughlin) – to once again come to the aid of their stricken Dungeons & Dragons playmate.
Along the way they’ll be aided by returning characters, Police Chief Jim Hopper (David Harbour – Hellboy), Will’s mom, Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder), and everyone’s favourite Millennium Falcon levitating shaven-headed supergal, Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown). As well as several new characters: tomboy Max (Sadie Sink) and her older step-brother Billy (Dacre Montgomery), a woman named Roman (Linnea Berthelsen), who’s connected to Hawkins lab, RadioShack manager Bob Newby (Sean Astin – The Lord of the Rings trilogy), Department of Energy agent Dr. Owens (Paul Reiser – Aliens) and disgraced journalist-turned-conspiracy theorist Murray Bauman (Brett Gelman).
Possibly the most anticipated piece of entertainment aside from some indie project about a bearded Jedi, The Duffer Brothers directed second season of Stranger Things will be available to binge watch on Netflix from 27th October 2017.
