Use all of that Jedi mind power that you’ve learned in isolation on Ahch-To. Kick away the Porgs that are excitedly gathering around your twitching feet. Count to ten in Wookie. You’ll need all of these relaxation techniques because you’re getting very close to being able to pre-book your tickets for Rian Johnson’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

With the full final trailer expected in a matter of days, it’s being reported that you’ll be able to book your tickets on that very same day. Now, if Mark Hamill’s quickly deleted tweet is any indication as to when we can expect to hit refresh on our preferred cinema booking page, then we’re looking at October 9th.

VUE, Cineworld, and Odeon here in the UK have all put up their holding pages, with the option to be notified of ticket availability when they go on sale, potentially as early as next week. Credence is added to the rumours by the fact that it’s also being reported that AMC and Regal Cinemas in the US are prepping their ticket booking systems for next week.

Nothing has been confirmed by either Lucasfilm or Disney, but it doesn’t take Yoda level intelligence to work out that you can start putting together your own midnight screening group of Knights of the First Order.

Picking up right where The Force Awakens left off, Star Wars: The Last Jedi finds Rey (Daisy Ridley), after finally discovering Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), beginning her training in the ways of the Force.

Starkiller Base may have been destroyed, but the First Order are far from defeated and the war between them and the Resistance grows ever more fierce. The Resistance could really use a Jedi Knight on their side but Skywalker has decided that it’s time for the Jedi to end.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is released on 14th December 2017.
