European Star Wars fans who were jealous of American fans that got to see the huge event promoting The Force Awakens at Star Wars Celebration 2015 will get the last laugh this year. Fans heading to Celebration Europe 2016 will be able to attend a special panel on Rogue One: A Star Wars StoryLucasfilm announced director Gareth Edwards will be joined by Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy to talk about the new film.

Rogue One hits theaters on December 16, so it’s possible we will see a new trailer for the film at Celebration. The event at London’s ExCel London Exhibition Centre runs from July 15 to July 17. Edwards and Kennedy will talk on the first day.

Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) will also be a spotlight guest at Celebration Europe. Warwick Davis, best known for playing the Ewok Wicket in Return of the Jedi, and David Collins, who provided various voices for The Force Awakens, are the stage hosts.

Rogue One is the first standalone Star Wars film and follows Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones), who is assigned to steal the plans of the Death Star of the Rebellion. The film takes place before the events in Episode IV – A New Hope. Other members of the cast include Forest Whitaker, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed and Mads Mikkelsen. And for Star Wars fans who love details, the actress who played Mon Mothma in Revenge of the Sith, Genevieve O’Reilly, is reprising the role.

The next Star Wars Story will be the young Han Solo movie directed by Christopher Miller and Phil Lord. Maybe Kennedy will confirm Alden Ehrenreich as the new Han Solo at Celebration Europe.

If you can’t make it to London, you can wait for the next U.S. Celebration in Orlando in April 2017.
