Olivia Munn has trained extensively in swordplay for her role as Psylocke in the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse, and decided to show Deadpool’s Ryan Reynolds a thing or two. Munn posted the following video to Instagram showcasing some of the badassery we can look forward to when she plays the formidable mutant onscreen in May.

Reynolds, in the title role of Deadpool, which opens later this week, doesn’t quite know what to do with himself, resorting to using his own brand of swordfighting strategy.

Honestly, this would be an awesome showdown onscreen or off given that Reynolds is no stranger to Deadpool’s own blade-wielding prowess having played the character once before in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. While many despise that film, no one can deny he showed some mad skills with his katanas and will more than likely step that game up in Deadpool.

Reynolds seems to be making the X-Men rounds as last week Hugh Jackman (Wolverine) posted a photo of the two together with a tongue-in-cheek plea for Reynolds to “stop following” him. Hopefully we’ll continue to see him torment fellow Marvel actors for some time. If not for that annoying proprietary issue, I bet the Avengers could do with a visit from the Merc.

Deadpool is in theaters February 12 while X-Men: Apocalypse opens May 27.
