James Gunn, the man behind Guardians of the Galaxy and its sequel Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, is constantly asked the same things over and over. His solution? Write an FAQ post on Facebook.

Gunn doesn’t offer up a whole lot of novelty information, but we do get a lot of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 tidbits here and there. For example, when asked when the GotG Vol. 2 trailer is being released we get “before Christmas” as an answer. On the possibility of a Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3:

I have not yet made up my mind. Let me get through this one first! That said, I have a desire to do other things.

– Oh, you must be exhausted. You want to do something smaller.

No, not really. I mean who knows what will strike my fancy, but I like playing in a big sandbox. I am very comfortable there.

There’s also mention of two of the new songs in Awesome Mix Vol. 2.:

Two songs played in the San Diego Comic-Con footage: Fleetwood Mac’s The Chain and Jay and the Americans’ Come a Little Bit Closer. Does that mean they’re in the movie? Maybe.

There are a lot more answers with which you can entertain yourself, like what DC movie he’d like to helm, what’s his favorite Marvel movie (it’s Iron Man), or what’s the science behind the scene where Peter Quill hands over his mask to Gamora. Most of the answers are satisfactory because of either the information Gunn provides or the humor he injects. He even addresses the Easter Egg that hasn’t been found from the first Guardians movie.

– Has the big Easter egg from Vol. 1 been found yet?

No.

– No way. I think you’re just making it up and trolling us.

I’m not. I promise. As I’ve said a million times, I’ve never lied to the fans and I never will.

The one time he doesn’t give a straight answer is:

– Is baby Groot the same as Groot, or Groot’s son?

It’s complicated.

– Does he have Groot’s memories?

No.

– Does baby Groot stay baby Groot for all of Guardians Vol. 2?

Haha look at that cute thing my cat is doing.

– You’re avoiding the question.

I know. What’s your next question?

Like I said, not a lot of new information about arguably the most anticipated MCU Phase 3 movie. For now, we can enjoy the small teases that director James Gunn gives us before the internet explodes when the trailer is released.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will hit theaters April 25, 2017.
